Northern Ireland boxer Michael La Walsh said winning the Commonwealth Games gold medal on the same day as her brother Aidan was an “extraordinary achievement”.

Michaela Walsh won her lightweight semifinal shortly after Aidan won the light welterweight semifinal.

Both will join 15 other fighters from their countries in Sunday’s gold medal fight.
