Northern Ireland boxer Michael La Walsh said winning the Commonwealth Games gold medal on the same day as her brother Aidan was an “extraordinary achievement”.
Michaela Walsh won her lightweight semifinal shortly after Aidan won the light welterweight semifinal.
Both will join 15 other fighters from their countries in Sunday’s gold medal fight.
England super heavyweight Delicious Ollie was among them after another dominant victory in the semifinals.

“Regardless of the outcome, I’m proud to be in the Commonwealth Games final with my brother. Not many people can say that, so I’m very happy.
“The position we’re in now is an amazing achievement – obviously we want to go further, but for now we’re just enjoying what we’re going to get tonight and tomorrow, but we’re ready.”
