President Joe Biden has tested negative for the coronavirus for the second day in a row and plans to return to public office, according to a White House doctor.
“He will safely return to public engagement and presidential travel,” Dr. Kevin O’Connor said in the memo Saturday.
On Saturday, Biden tested negative for the first time since being re-quarantined last week after testing positive for a rebound in coronavirus cases. He was originally diagnosed with the coronavirus in July.
Dr. O’Connor said Saturday that it was “extremely cautious” that Biden would continue his “strict quarantine measures” until a second negative test.
Mr Biden was seen aboard Marine One outside the White House after a second negative test. He and First Lady Jill Biden were on their way to Rehoboth Beach for the day.
“I feel good,” Mr. Biden tell reporters before his flight.
