Fulham aim cheeky dig at Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp after ‘dry pitch’ comments
After the game, Klopp praised Fulham’s performance and admitted his side were well below par.
“Then we want to fight back, but you don’t think it’s easy. The pitch is dry … we’re really playing in their cards.”

“The best thing about this game is the result,” Klopp told BT Sport after going full time.
“A very bad game. How did this happen? The attitude was wrong at the beginning.
“We tried to react after 15 minutes. The pitch was dry, like this. It was really hard.”
Klopp has risen to prominence for making excuses for his Liverpool side after poor results.
The German was ridiculed on social media by rival fans after his latest comments, and Fulham have now turned their heads.
The west London club tweeted a photo of several sprinklers watering their home ground, alongside the caption: ‘The lawn at Craven Cottage looked very lush yesterday’, followed by the water emoji.
Fulham’s cheeky tweet was welcomed by supporters on social media.
“Hahaha yes lads this is not too dry,” one fan wrote on Twitter.

Fulham will look to continue their impressive start to the season when they face Wolves away on Saturday.
Liverpool, meanwhile, will bounce back when they host Crystal Palace next Monday.
