Gareth Bell Scored an incredible solo goal to help his new major league Los Angeles FC beat Real Salt Lake on Sunday.

Since leaving Real Madrid at the end of last season, Bale joined the club on a one-year deal and has made an impressive start at LAFC.

He scored his second goal for his new team in a 4-1 win over Real Salt Lake City at the weekend.

A brace from Cristian Arango and a goal from Kellyn Acosta put LAFC firmly in control before Bale scored with a superb solo goal.

After receiving the ball on the right side of midfield, Bell rushed past two defenders and then cut inside for an unstoppable shot past Salt Lake City goalkeeper Zach McMath.

Fans were blown away by the 33-year-old Wales captain’s impressive speed and power.

One fan tweeted: “Officially a star player in his club and league – seems to love life too! Incredible ending.”

Another added: “He’s been doing this his entire career and can’t play in a game like this. Sit back and enjoy seeing a player with ‘world-class talent’.”

A third wrote: “For Gareth Bale, today’s game was like playing against the kids.”

Earlier this week, Bale said he was now enjoying football again after a difficult Real Madrid career.

“Any player will tell you that if they have a smile on their face, they like football more, you play better, you have more enthusiasm and life seems to be better,” he said.

“I want to go back and enjoy my football, I feel like I’m trying to do that and I’m looking forward to the future.”

The LAFC win puts them six points ahead of the Western Conference, one game less than their closest rival, Austin.

They will return against Charlotte on Sunday before taking on Wayne Rooney’s Washington United on Aug. 17.
