While I’ve seen more designer items at my local TJ Maxx than I’ve seen before, the rest of the store doesn’t seem much different from anywhere else – it’s still adorned with the iconic discount sign.
Even with designer items, it’s still a TJ Maxx.

At the end of the day, this is still a TJ Maxx, and even if you’re sifting through the shelves at BCBG and Gucci, you can’t possibly forget that.
There are signs everywhere reminding you that there’s a discount when you get a coffee and a bagel for less than three pairs of Calvin Klein underwear (the set is $11).
I think at the time of my visit this store offered more designer accessories than clothing. But it’s still a lot more than I’ve seen in other places that also stock high-end stuff.
While I don’t think there’s anything particularly great about it, I think it’s the kind of place where if I lived nearby I would stop by every week or so to see if there were any enticing deals.
