This Buffalo Bills They solidified their trenches by removing Roger Safford from the non-football injured list at the weekend.

Suffold was originally on the roster after injuring a rib in a car accident at the start of training camp in Buffalo.

The 34-year-old Safford is entering his 13th NFL season and is the first with the Bills and has started 157 of his 160 games. Despite making his first Pro Bowl in 2021, Safford found himself a free agent in the offseason after the Tennessee Titans released him in a cap-saving move.

Tennessee’s loss turned out to be Buffalo’s gain. The Bills’ signing of Suffold headlined the addition of three new free agents to their offensive line. Saffold’s Titans teammate David Quessenberry also moved to Buffalo in the offseason, and Greg Van Roten came over from the New York Jets.

As NFL Network’s Mike Giardi reports, starting right guard Ryan Bates is also set to return to practice after missing several practices, with the now healthy lineup entering a crunch in front of star quarterback Josh Allen.
