Ronaldo came off the bench in Eric Ten Haag’s first game in charge, ending the defeat after a brace from Pascal Gross in the first half.
Ronaldo came off the bench on Sunday afternoon as United tried to turn things around in the second half.

There was plenty of jeering from disgruntled home fans – some of it as Ronaldo walked to the pitch before the game.
Manchester United released a clip of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner walking out of the tunnel to warm up with the rest of the bench, but the boos against Ronaldo were audible.

However, another man who wears the armband for the Red Devils, Roy Keane, believes the club cannot replace him due to a lack of attacking options.
“You can’t get Ronaldo out of the gate thinking that Martial would be the answer, Martial is not the answer,” Keane said on Sky Sports.
“He had a good pre-season? Big deal.
“They don’t have enough options at the moment. That might change in the next few weeks, but from a football point of view, you just have to grab Ronaldo.
“You can’t let him go when you don’t have backup.”
