Among all the highlights Lionel Messi has collected over the years, the Paris Saint-Germain star managed to pull off an impressive maiden feat in Paris Saint-Germain’s Ligue 1 opener against Clermont Ford.

PSG relied heavily on Messi and Neymar, who scored the first goal and assisted the next three as they started their season without the injured Kylian Mbappe. The star striker missed Saturday with an adductor injury and missed last week’s 4-0 win over Nantes to win the trophy due to suspension.
With over 700 career goals, it’s always a treat to see Messi continue to find ways to wow at the age of 35. And, after a challenging first season with Paris Saint-Germain, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner has made the perfect start to a new campaign.
