In the summer of 1965, to keep bored kids entertained, some dads in Bainbridge Island, Washington, invented a game that used plastic balls, some wood, and a badminton court. “Kimchi Ball” was born. It has since become the fastest growing sport in the United States and is now played by nearly 5 million people. Correspondent Luke Burbank took a look at Pickleball lore and caught his eye during a game against Pickleball Hall of Famer Jennifer Lucore.
