Joohyung “Tom” Kim’s first victory on the PGA Tour has a lot to offer. In addition to earning a Tour card for the 2024 season, King has earned more than $1.3 million.
Because he entered the event as a special temporary member of the tour, King was not eligible for FedExCup points, which are tied to the playoffs. But thanks to his win, and his full Tour status, King’s unofficial FEC points — which included 500 points for his victory — became the official playoff point.
